The course begins by understanding how line design impacts efficiency, lead time, and adaptability. A strong focus is placed on the Toyota approach to line planning, including how to use standard work, cycle time, and workload balancing to design stable, synchronized lines. We’ll also cover various manning strategies and how to determine the optimal number of operators based on demand and line design.
