Thales thermal binoculars

The Sophie thermal binoculars are a family of hand held thermal cameras produced by Thales. The Sophie family is designed for use on military operations, peacekeeping operations, border surveillance and many other applications. They allow the detection, recognition, identification and location of day and night targets even in adverse conditions such as fog, wind and dust, or facing sunlight. They equally allow the transfer of information to Command & Control (C²) Centres. Photo from March 2010. File:Sophie ©B. Rousseau.jpg by Bernard Rousseau Thales
